Gary Hartshorn, Ph.D. President and CEO Gary Hartshorn is President and CEO of the World Forestry Center. He is an adjunct professor of the practice of tropical ecology in Duke's Nicholas School of the Environment; in Oregon State University's College of Forestry he is an adjunct professor of tropical forestry. Dr. Hartshorn is particularly interested in promoting the sustainable use of forests.
